Nefrontida Nefrologiko Kentro Labotron Ltd

Nefrontida is a 22-bed private Dialysis Center, based in Nicosia, Cyprus. It functions as a day-clinic, which corresponds to operating hours 07:00 – 19:00, Monday to Saturday.



Nefrontida Dialysis Center accommodates dialysis patients in two shifts (morning and afternoon), in two separated departments, a 14-bed Renal Unit at ground floor and an 8-bed Renal Unit at 1st floor.

At the 1st floor there is also a negative pressure isolation room “yellow room” to dialyze patients with blood borne or air borne diseases, separate from the rest patients.



The Center has the latest Baxter dialysis machines (Artis Physio Plus) and provides online hemodiafiltration (HDF) to all patients. Currently, only negative patients for Hepatitis B, C and HIV are dialyzed in our Unit.



Three expert Nephrologists run the Unit and there is always one present during the dialysis sessions.

Treatments are provided by expert nurse staff, most of them with significant previous experience in intensive care units.

Vascular access puncture is made under ultrasound guidance whenever needed, to avoid unsuccessful needle placement, while ultrasound is also used during the dialysis session for intravenous needle position adjustment when indicated.
